Classes begin again August 15th!

It won't be long and we will begin classes in a new room at First Baptist Church.  Instead of turning right into the old parking lot, you will turn left and enter through a set of glass doors.  We are thankful to First Baptist for once again assisting us in obtaining a room in which to meet.

Tuition for the month of August will be $60.  Two groups will meet on Monday, one on Wednesday and three on Thursdays.  We will have a special activity the last week in August.  We truly enjoyed our visits to Bennett Nursery and also to Across the Pond.  Two young ladies had a splendid time as did parents.  It is a trip that we anticipate making at the end of August.  We will also have a swimming party in mid-September.

Check back here for more information on class times and schedules.  We have several new students who will be joining us and we are excited to welcome them.

We've had an exciting and full semester of learning and fun!

We will "reopen" for classes/events/activities the week of June 13th.  There is much to be shared and there are people joining group.  Continue to look for activities and listings here as well as in your email box.  Have a great month and I will see you soon.

Class Cancellations for Week of May 2nd through 7th

No Monday classes as First Baptist is being utilized as a command post for volunteers.  We will meet Monday, May 9th and extend our meetings on into the month.

Wednesday classes will meet at Mellow Mushroom at 5:30 IF all goes as planned.  Missed seeing everyone and I do hope everyone is okay.

Drive safely and remember curfew hours.  Hope the electricity is up in your area.

Hot Times Summer in the City

This summer we are taking it to the streets for limited engagements.  If you are interested in participating in outings and special events, we will meet twice a week for a few hours each time to share in the joys of summer.  No typical classroom activities this summer.

Classes will be held:
June 13th through June 24th  (First Session)
July 11th through July 22nd (Second Session)

Young adults/adults will meet more frequently.  I anticipate that we will meet once a week beginning June 13th and continue right on through the end of July.  We will probably keep a Monday schedule; however, time may vary.

If you are interested, please email me at aspergereducationservices@gmail.com to sign up for classes.  Tuition will be reasonable and we will share a number of experiences.  I am truly looking forward to getting out and enjoying the summer.

More information to follow soon.  Registration will close on May 15th.

It's an Amazing Month - May

Wow.  Where have the past few months gone?  We have been busy, busy and will be winding down by May 12th as the Christian Life Center is being renovated.  The project will take approximately 14 months, so we are looking for a place to call home for the next year. It is our hope that we will be able to secure a room at First Baptist.

What a wonderful experience it is sharing "Be Different" with the young adults/adults.  Last week, we viewed a presentation by John Elder Robison.  We are taking the rest of this month, April, and May to complete the series.  I am really looking forward to hearing their thoughts on Monday.
